A Marian Reflection
There is something about a quiet morning, before the household starts to stir. You pour yourself a hot cup of coffee, find a cozy corner, and draw out your Rosary beads to begin your day. The first sounds of the morning are whispers of ancient prayers repeated as your fingers run over the beads, guiding your way through the mysteries. Your mind may wander as with any meditation, but the mysteries give us a visual story to come back to each time. Not only is the Rosary beneficial to the person praying, but we are also able to pray for others. This can be a form of stress release and letting go, handing our intentions over to the Lord, prayer after prayer. Making this practice first thing will forever change the pace of each day. Your eyes will be more open to special moments, your mind calmer. Many may find this practice intimidating or long at first, but after a few times, it is fluid and beautifully rhythmic. There are many guides to the Rosary on the internet. We love the Hallow app to help guide beginners through.
